A passion project and entrepreneurial exercise. By Daylight was born out of the need to let some of my vintage pieces collected over the years to go on to find new homes. On my 31st birthday, I decided to start my own vintage curation shop, giving me complete creative freedom over the brand. “By Daylight” is a phrase used in my favorite anime (Sailormoon) as part of the themesong, and as I was taking photos of my items by the golden afternoon sunlight, I thought it to be the perfect name.
